At the time of writing this, I just recently spent some time in Taipei, after almost a year of fixating on visiting. Taipei is a really awesome city, and unlike any I have visited before. I once saw someone post somewhere that Taipei feels like Tokyo felt in the 1980s and 90s, and I imagine that is true. It is really, really cool.

The night markets are so fun to explore, the shopping is unique, the food is absolutely amazing and the people are so friendly, I highly recommend a visit if you find yourself in East Asia.\
